Odour Control & Dust Extraction Systems for Waste to Energy Plants
The AAC 3-Pass Swiftpack® Carbon Filter System is designed using the latest carbon filter technology and is suitable for small to large odour control and dust extraction in waste to energy plants.
AAC 3-Pass Carbon Filter System With Pre-Filters
Within the AAC 3-pass carbon filter system, a 3-stage pre-filtration section is installed to protect the carbon media from blinding from any dust contamination.

Key Features
• 3 Stage prefiltration
• Plastic refillable system
• Available in 316 SS or galvanised mild steel
Key Benefits
• Standard and bespoke configurations
• Onsite servicing
• Low running costs
• Environmentally friendly
Environmentally Friendly Equipment
The AAC 3-Pass Swiftpack® Carbon Filter System offers a range of environmental benefits for larger odour control and particulate matter collection projects, such as Waste to Energy plants.
• Plastic refillable filter trays
• Spent activated carbon can often be recycled FREE of Charge in the UK.
Where carbon recycling is possible, this leads to a reduction in the running costs for this element of a large project.
Bespoke Design and Manufacture Service
We offer a complete design and manufacture service that includes full 3D and 2D CAD capability, KST dust sample analysis and reports, dust collectors, odour abatement filtration, instrumentation and controls, fans, VSD’s, and ducting all to the highest standard of engineering to meet your project requirements.
Reduced Running Costs
The installation of AAC PR filter cells in the AAC 3-pass carbon filter system enables the activated carbon media to be emptied and re-filled many times over the course of the lifespan of the filter cell, contributing to the reduced running cost of the carbon filter system by minimising the times that filter replacement is required. The 3-pass capability of this carbon filter system also enables different media types to be utilised allowing the removal of both general gases and odours, as well as specific gases such as ammonia.
The servicing of the AAC 3-pass carbon filter units can be carried out by on-site personnel, alternatively, AAC Eurovent can arrange for the filter units to be serviced on-site by fully trained AAC personnel who are experienced in this procedure. In addition, AAC Eurovent has the capability to design, install the ductwork, and fan provision.
Fans
We supply belt-driven or speed inverter direct driven fans and backward curved centrifugal fans for Waste to Energy plants.
These high-performance fans are designed to deliver a robust fan system for medium pressure applications, typically 2000 to 3500 Pa.
We can supply a full range of competitively priced coal and coconut-based activated carbon to provide the optimum performance for Waste to Energy applications.
Our Adsorption Media Index provides end-users with a guide to the removal efficiencies of activated carbon in a range of substances.
A fast turnaround carbon filter media replacement service is also available.
The AAC Colourcell® Media Filter System is a low cost, media indication filter cell which responds to changes in the condition of installed activated carbon by changing colour. This provides end-users and maintenance staff with an important visual indication of the condition of their activated carbon and to when the media may require to be replaced.
Following the replacement of activated carbon media, we can arrange for the disposal of the spent media by an approved disposal company.
This popular service enables clients to be free from any direct involvement in the organisation and logistics of the spent media disposal.
A certificate of safe disposal is then issued to clients for their records.
All our products are manufactured in accordance with the quality assured system BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and are supported by our Free Technical Support.
