MEDIA

We hold large stocks of different types of Dry Chemical Scrubbing media to ensure a fast and efficient media replacement service. All our products are supplied with a detailed specification sheet and a current Health & Safety Data Sheet. All our plastic refillable filter cell components are also held in stock to ensure a rapid turnaround in filter replacement.

LABOUR

Our in-house team of experienced personnel, dedicated to media replacement projects, can offer advice in regard to the correct media selection for your application, ensuring customer satisfaction in terms of competence, servicing time and quality of service. All media replacement is conducted with an emphasis on Safety and Site Hygiene. All our employees are regularly updated during training courses at recognised Safety establishments. Where necessary, AAC Eurovent will conduct Risk Assessments to evaluate any potential hazards and to identify any specialist safety equipment required during media replacement projects.

EQUIPMENT

All the plant and equipment necessary to carry out media replacement is supplied to execute operations in the most efficient and safest manner possible, with due regard to the site operating conditions. All Equipment supplied is, where applicable, tested and certified in accordance with H&SE requirements as well as with the IEE regulations. Examples of the types of equipment available include: Industrial vacuum cleaners, whaler tanker, gas detection/monitoring equipment and lifting hoists. All on site personnel wear the appropriate protection including dust masks, coveralls and safety foot and eyewear whilst carrying out media replacements, all in compliance with COSHH regulations.

PRE & AFTER FILTER REPLACEMENT

In order to protect a newly charged media bed, it is important to change the prefilters at regular intervals. AAC Eurovent is able to supply all types of pre filter media suitable for virtually all Dry Chemical Scrubbing installations.

MEDIA TESTING SERVICE

A media testing service is available, with some services being available free of charge - subject to certain terms and conditions. Media testing can take various forms ranging from C.T.C (Carbon Tetrachloride Testing) analysis, R.C.T Testing (Residual Capacity Testing), Diffusion Tubes, Corrosion Coupons and the AAC Colourcell.

MEDIA DISPOSAL

Following the replacement of media, we are able to arrange for the disposal of the spent media by an approved disposal company. This is a popular service, enabling clients to be free from any direct involvement in the organisation and logistics of the spent media disposal. A certificate of safe disposal is then issued to clients for their records.
