Plasma Clean Xtract is a brand new concept in environmental hygiene. Designed to assist in the removal of cooking smells in the kitchen extraction canopy and ductwork systems, this air purification unit is ideally suited to the rigorous demands of fast food bars, pubs and restaurants.
How it works
Plasma Clean Xtract is a simple and innovative product, which acts by oxidizing cooking contaminants, breaking them down into carbon dioxide and water thereby reducing cooking smells, helping to dramatically improve air quality.
Plasma Clean Xtract VERSUS Conventional UV Solutions
- Inexpensive and simple to install

- Is located outside of the air flow so does not add to the system static pressure

Plasma Clean Xtract and Activated Carbon
The Xtract unit can also be used with a conventional Activated Carbon Filters to further assist in the reduction of kitchen cooking odours. The downstream carbon filter further carries out a two stage benefit in both adsorbing residual odours and by catalytic reaction destroys any residual ozone. This pairing of odour control technologies provides a good combination on lower level discharges.
A further benefit obtained by this combination is that the Plasma Clean Xtract can extend the life of the carbon filter system by precleaning the air.
