Xtract VERSUS Conventional UV Kitchen Odour Control Solutions

Xtract and Activated Carbon Filters
The Xtract series can also be used with conventional activated carbon filters to further assist in the reduction of kitchen cooking odours. The downstream carbon filter further carries out a two stage benefit in both adsorbing residual odours and by catalytic reaction destroys any residual ozone. This pairing of odour control technologies provides a good combination on lower level discharges. A further benefit obtained by this combination is that Xtract series can extend the life of the carbon filter system by precleaning the air.By using Xtract either as a stand alone unit or as pre-cleansing device great benefits of a low maintenance odour control system can be realized.
