At AAC Eurovent we design,  manufacture and supply a full range of low cost filter solutions designed to deliver high performance NOx – Nitric Oxide (NO) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) removal for indoor air projects.

Our solutions are based on AAC NITROSORB® which uses breakthrough technology to deliver competitively priced, sustainable NOx (NO & NO2) reduction for indoor air projects. Independently tested and verified this high performance media solution is both widely recommended by Air Quality Consultants and regularly specified by Mechanical Consultants for indoor air projects in Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs).

Indoor Air NO2 Mitigation and Current Legislation

The EU Directive 2008/50/EC (the CAFE Directive) European Union Air Quality and Clean Air for Europe 2008 set stringent NO2 levels for designated Air Quality Management Areas. This has implications for Developers, Planners and Mechanical Consultants involved in new build Residential and Educational schemes where NO2 concentrations exceed the accepted level of 40ug/m³.

AAC Swiftpack® NITROSORB® Filter System

AAC NITROSORBThe patented AAC Swiftpack® NITROSORB® Filter System incorporates AAC NITROSORB® media into the AAC PR range of media filter cells. This high performance solution is compatible with Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery systems (MVHRs), and offers the benefit of longevity, alongside low pressure drop, with no increased energy consumption from the indoor ventilation system.

NOx (NO & NO2) Filters for Horizontal and Vertical Air Flows

NOx filers for residential buildings

The AAC Swiftpack® NITROSORB® Filter System is compatible with horizontal and vertical airflow designs. These compact units are suitable for a wide range of volume flow rates and can be made to present a low profile suitable for installation into a false ceiling void as low as 180mm. The unit meets the low pressure drop requirements of Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery units (MVHRs) installed under part F of the Building Regulations. PM10 or PM2.5 can easily be removed by the installation of a suitably rated particulate pre-filter, thus enabling them to comply with the particulate aspect of the legislation.

NOx (NO & NO2) Filters for Centralised Air Handling Plant

For projects with Centralised Air Handling plant the AAC NITROSORB® filter cells can be installed by means of the AAC Swiftkit® or the AAC Skeleton-Frame.

AAC Swiftpack® NITROSORB® Filter System with Colourcell®

Our unique AAC Colourcell® Media Filter System is designed to save time and money by providing end users and maintenance technicians with a clear indication of the status of the NITROSORB® media and to when the media replacement should be carried out.

The AAC Colourcell is a patented transparent filter cell that contains a media within it that changes colour from white (New Media) and turns to pink when spent. This gives the end user confidence in knowing when a media change is required. The result can of course be further verified by analysis of a media sample in the laboratory.

Nitrous oxide reduction for schoolsAAC Equinox® Portable Real-time Monitoring System

As part of the commissioning process for larger projects (>50 units), we offer our Equinox® portable real time monitoring system, free of charge, for a maximum of 2 weeks (subject to availability and terms and conditions), This gives end users and installation staff the opportunity  to fully prove the systems effectiveness in operation.
