Carbon Filters - Liquid Phase

Introduction

The LF series of carbon filters from AAC Eurovent are designed specifically for controlling emissions in a wide range of liquid phase applications.

Typical applications for this range of carbon filters include: Groundwater treatment, Wastewater treatment facilities and Process liquor purification.

Designed for the efficient removal of a wide range of organic compounds, these modular liquid phase carbon filters are suitable for semi-static, emergency or temporary operations such as site remediation and spillage scenarios.

About Our Carbon Filters For Liquid Phase Applications

Simple and easy to use, each product in the LF range has been designed to allow the even distribution of liquid across the carbon filter bed, enabling maximum exposure to the filter bed to give greater efficiency and maximum operational life.

As the filter beds are permanently saturated with liquid during operation, the activated carbon media is always ready for service, even in intermittent use applications. The internal liquid distributor has been configured to enable the filter to be serviced in backwash conditions.

Activated Carbon For Liquid Phase Applications

The type of activated carbon which can be used in any of the AAC LF series is dependent on the specific function that the filter is required to perform; for instance to provide optimum adsorption capability for a range of either individual or a mix of contaminants, such as ozone, chlorine or halogen compounds. The modular nature of the series enables these liquid filter units to be arrange in parallel, increasing treatment rates or in series to improve removal efficiency.
